This blog focuses on my journey since going natural. Topics will range from hairstyles, product reviews, personal experiences, personal opinion, hair inspirations, and so much more...
Yesterday, I did my sister's hair in a cornrow style that leads to a low pin-up.
Here's what I did: 1. I cornrowed most of the hair. 2. I left a small section free in the back, which I individually braided. 3. I then pinned it all up using 2 bobby pins.
I like this hairstyle on me. After my recent foray into straightened hair (via the salon press-n-curl) I think I want to try and cornrow my hair. I figure it will be easy to part it since it's straight. Wearing my hair straight has made me realize that I like my natural better. I've been getting more "positive" responses from people regarding the straightened style, but it doesn't feel like it's "me." So I figure I need to try more styles with my natural, so people can see that natural hair can be pretty as well.
