My sister, Auset, suggested that I put mini twists in my hair over the Memorial Day weekend. She suggested that I pin curl them after they are put in so they could be curly. The pin curls did not work out...so, I went to my staple updo. Later on this week I will be buying some sponge rollers and will curl the twists.
After church on Sunday I co-washed my hair with Herbal Essence Hello Hydration. I used Garnier Fructise leave in conditioner. And after it air dryed I used Extra Virgin Olive Oil throughout my hair. The hair was then twisted with Jamaican Mango and Lime. Me and my sister started at 6:30 pm and finished at 1:30 am. It took about 7 hours. My sister did most of my head and I did a few sections.
These are the steps:
1. Put in mini-twists all over the head.
2. Use bobby pins to pin into desired updo.
Pretty simple, huh???
